What was the highlight of Smile Hotel Shizuoka
We would stay again due to value for money, even though we normally pay more for 4-5 star hotels
Value for money, friendly staff, very very small room for a couple with 2 large suitcases and a small one, but clean and comfortable, convenient location. Breakfast was OK fixed menu does not change, but we needed something early for attending event days, too much bread for me, so I ate the salad and eggs, gave my little sausages to my husband, I could not eat the 3 types of bread as too much for me. We would stay again for convenience.
As mentioned the breakfast was ok, but convenient for us, the room small for a couple especially as we had too much luggage. I would stay there again though.

It sufficed, just, only because of the helpfulness of the staff.
Not much… staff were very helpful
Rooms too small, no air con (which is a must) only heating worked. This hotel has past its prime.

Breakfast is not a buffet, but served to everyone individually. That was kinda cool. The staff was really nice and tried to help wherever they could.

Very friendly staff in a nice area with plenty explore.
The staff greeted me every time I entered or left the hotel and were very friendly. The room was comfortable, clean, and close to hotel amenities like Laundry, vending machines, and the common area. The hotel is also close to shops and restaurants.
The laundry machines were a bit confusing and took 4 or 5 cycles in the dryer before my clothes were completely dry.
